MYV WORLD TOUR FANPROJECT!
Miyavi World Tour Fanproject 2008: how was this idea born? And what is it, practically speaking?
Everything started at the Jrock Revolution Forum, when some Miyavi fans decided to make this tour unforgettable. For us, and for him. The European delegation decided to accept the friendly challege sent by the other fans and is proud to present you
"Miyavi World Tour Fanproject 2008 - European Scrapbook"
Our aim is the creation of a scrapbook, a ringbinder containing drawings, letters, images, dedications of all kinds made by European fans for this artist we all love and admire.
The scrapbook will then be maybe merged with the others coming from other European countries and then brought to one of the European dates of the world tour (the date is still unknown at the moment).
This is not a challenge among nations but a way to show Miyavi and PSC that the European fans are there, they are a great number and they are wild and creative as the Japanese ones (and who knows, maybe after seeing the scrapbooks the next World Tour will have more dates in more countries in Europe).
So, if you are Miyavi fans, read the rules and join us! We need you to create this project. You are this project, so do your best!

CONTENTS
We do not want to trap your creativity with strict rules. You can send drawings, images, photos, collages, postcards, letters, everything that your imagination comes up with.
However, there are some points that we can't compromise on and that we have to point out right away.
- No extreme fangirling scenes. No letters like "OMG MIYAVI YOU ARE SO HOT I WANNA HAVE YOUR BABIES!!11" or photos of your boobies and such. We know you are better than that. You must express your admiration and love for him, but please be decent. Don't be obsessive stalking fangirls. The sense of humor is your friend.
- Try to respect Miyavi's spirit. Yes to colors, rainbow, Kabuki style, patchwork-like and funny things, Don't send us a black sheet with bloody crimson writing.
- Respect the sizes you are given in the dedicated section. If you don't, your stuff ends up trashed or cut. It's a pain-in-the-ass rule but we can make no exceptions.
- Don't send cumbersome things. You can glue some little objects to your sheet but please remember that it has to be put inside a ringbinder, so nothing thicker than around one centimetre.
- Absolutely do not send perishable, alive (XD) things. We do not want the scrapbook to start smelling bad because of you.
- Do not use frail objects (for example glass, ceramics etc.). They wouldn't survive the shipping, trust us.
- If you want to write something to Miyavi, write in English or Japanese, otherwise he won't understand you. Don't worry about your English grammar, he's still learning too (so short and plain sentences are your friend). If you know Japanese, that's even better. Don't try to trick us by writing "OMG MYV I WANNA HAVE YOUR BABIES1!!! in another language, we are almighty and we know every language spoken on planet Earth. ;P
- We encourage you to send real handmade media, because we think they give a
more unique and personal feeling.
However, you can send digital works by printing them yourself or, if you really can't or really don't trust postal services, sending them by email.
SIZES
Your entry to the scrapbook MUST absolutely respect this rules, or it will be trashed, and we accept no whining on this.
- The size limit is A4 (21cm x 29,7cm) maximum, you can send anything
smaller.
The thickness limit is 1cm. - The entry must have, where it can be easily seen, the following "id string":
Name and/or nickname - age - country (and city if you wish)
This is useful first of all for Miyavi to know who is writing to him, and then for us to identify you at least perfunctorily (to know the reason why, please keep on reading). Obviously you can lie about everything, but it doesn't do any good to you or to us ;p. - Paste your entry on a thick colored (or white, if you prefer) paper for
support, that you can decorate as you want.
The sizes of this sheet must be 24cm x 31cm.
The sheet should have 4 holes for ringbinders (if it doesn't have them or you can't make them, don't worry). - This part is really important. This project has expenses, for ringbinders, shipping etc. It would be wonderful if everyone of you could donate just ONE EURO, inserting it inside the envelope with the entry. Obviously this is NOT MANDATORY and you can do as you please, but it would be a great help.
At the end of the project we will publish on the site a list with all the donators, so that everyone of you can check on the honesty of expenses and such (we ARE NOT making any money out of this). If there are money left, they will be given back to the donors (if there is a large amount of money left) or given to charity to a children related charity organisation (since Miyavi loves kids so much).
If you feel really really generous and you want to donate more than one euro, we have also a Paypal account. Use the e-mail to ask for more infos.
HOW TO SEND: addresses and other important notes
To obtain the address for the shipping, please click HERE.
The link will lead you to a page, where you have to follow the instruction to
obtain the address. We know it sounds complicated but we don't want strange
people to send us bombs or things like that XD.
In the page the addresses are divided by area, choose the one you live in or the nearest one.
You can use shipping with insurance or shipping without insurance to send your
entry. Anyway, we are not responsible if your stuff gets lost by the postal
service.
The site will be updated every weekend with the names/nicknames of people who sent stuff, and the evetual amount of their donation. Check if you are there, and if your name doesn't appear after a reasonable amount of time, start worrying about your stuff. :(.
ASK FOR INFOS: the e-mail address
For every info the addresses you can write to is these ones:
or
myv_fanproject@yahoo.it
Please specify what you want to know in the mail object. Don't write "Hello" or "Help me", but something more like "Infos needed on the Paypal account" or "Question about sizes". This will help us getting back to you faster and better.
THE DELIVERY: when where and why
Waiting for all the dates to be announced! ^___^ We're discussing about it in the FORUMS.
